Sales Manager for Italian Market

Based in Italy

Travel required

Our Company is an international online hotel reservation business specialising in quality hotel accommodation at discounted rates. We offer in excess of 100,000 hotels in 10,000 destinations around the world in both cities and coastal areas and provide a unique service to agents who are seeking the best hotel rates. We are a growing Company with a dynamic and vibrant team with offices based in the UK, Sweden and Romania.

We are now seeking a Sales Manager based in Milan to help us to drive forward our expansion plans within our Italian market.


Role purpose

To manage, develop and maximise revenue and opportunities with existing travel partners and to acquire new partners through our best in class dedicated trade website, xml and white label solutions. This role is on a one year, renewable, self-employed contract basis. The successful candidate will be based from home and will be expected to travel within the region and to our Head Office in London for up to 50% of the time.


Role activities

·         To grow bookings and revenue within the designated territory

·         Identify and develop new trade partners

·         Account management of exiting partners within the territory

·         Business development with consortia and independent travel agencies

·         Promotion of company’s usp’s at relevant trade shows and events

·         To be an ambassador for the Company

Requisiti richiesti


Skills and experience required


·         Fluency in written and spoken business English and Italian

·         Demonstrable face to face sales experience within the retail travel industry

·         Knowledge of tourism industry, on line travel/ecommerce experience preferred

·         Excellent communication skills including sales, negotiation and presentation

·         Excellent account management skills

·         Highly organized with commercial outlook

·         Self-motivated, flexible and able to work on own initiative

·         Ability to work well under pressure, meet stretch targets and tight deadlines

·         Full driving license with no penalty points or convictions
