Role: [b[HR & Training Coordinator within the Marine Technical and Operations Department

Location: South of the UK

Company: A sparkling Cruise Line Company which is developing and is a world leader in it’s arena

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: Circa £27,000UK ++

Reporting to: Manager of Recruitment & HR Services

Travel: From time to time there could be international travel too.

Major Role Responsibilities

Coordinate all Officer candidate interviews
Arrange all travel for candidates
Track all expenses for candidate interviews
Coordinate with manufacturers available professional training courses
Develop and maintain professional training calendar
Coordinate with manufacturers and Officers training course arrangements
Arrange all travel and accommodation for Officers attending training courses
Produce purchase orders for training courses
Track all expenditure on training
Assist in the professional training Annual Operating Budget preparations
Input all training course attendance and certification into SAP
Coordinate applications for Bahamian Endorsement renewals and enter revalidated endorsements into SAP
Support Manager Recruiting and HR Services in UK with travel, expenses, diary management
Any other duties as and when required by the business

Requisiti richiesti
Probably in the UK right now, you will have an amazing personality coupled with exceptional organisational, coordination and administration skills. You will have worked shipboard on a Cruise liner in a role dealing with admin / paperwork / organising and more. You will have a proven track record of being exposed and involved within an HR function. Perhaps you have been within the HR department already or the Purser team onboard in a leadership role?

You will be able to work in a fast pace environment, with the flexibility to support more than one person, as well as handling multiple projects. Your appearance will be immaculate and your enthusiasm bubbling. As a people focussed individual you will understand about ‘looking after’ the internal Guest to the highest level.

You won’t be afraid to get up infront of a room of people to run a short presentation or train an induction session. Your computer skills will include everything in the Microsoft Office portfolio and you will be flexible with your working hours due to the role demands and travel requirements too. If you have experience within the ‘Marine’ sector too, this would be even better.You will be able to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship or visa. As interviews are in the UK, you would be able to attend them at your own expense. Unfortunately telephone interviews and Skype are probably not going to be considered.
