We are very fortunate to have been asked to work alongside a fabulous 5* Cruise Line company to look for HR Professionals whom have had experience with HR Change programmes. Are you looking for a new adventure? Thanks for looking.

Here are the details…

* Role: HR Manager Focussing on Change Management
* Company: A 5* Cruise Liner – more detail on application
* Start Date: ASAP!
* Salary: Circa £40,000UK Tax Free p.a. which is equivalent to circa £60,000 in a shoreside role…and you save a lot more when working shipboard
* Rotation: 3½ months working shipboard (7 days a week) then 1 month shoreside (5 of 7 days) then circa 6-8 weeks vacation
* Stripes: 3½ stripes
* Reporting to: Captain and HR Director Shoreside
* JD: On application

Role Overview
The HR Manager role will be involved in developing, enhancing and effectively changing the leadership styles, attitudes and motivational techniques of the shipboard Officers.The position helps to coach, mentor, direct and advise the leaders on 1:1 levels on how they can manage themselves and their teams.

You The Candidate
This exciting and really unique opportunity is looking for a Candidate whom has had large exposure to ‘Change Management’. You will be very experienced in measuring your effectiveness and showing that your inputs have been ‘working’.Skilled and with evidence of ‘leadership development and direction’…not simply through running a training course, but by mentoring and coaching personnel through different challenging work and sometimes personal situations.

Your personality will be as strong as an ox and to get ‘push back’ from a leader who is not ‘buying into’ the desired company vision will be like water off a ducks back for you. Your resilience will be powerful and ‘challenge’ to you will be a walk in the park. You will be patient, assertive, ambassadorial, a mediator, and able to influence the most inflexible and sometimes even stubborn individuals.If you are an HR Professional who has ‘sales’ skills with the ability to get ‘Buy In’ with ease…then we are looking forward to hearing from you.

You will come from an FMCG background and able to adapt to this new world quickly. You will be willing to work 7 days a week for long hours with no days of for perhaps 3½ months straight.Maybe you have worked on cruise ships before and have now taken a career path into the HR world?

# List all of the ‘Leadership coaching’ (not necessarily training courses facilitated) but how you ‘consulted’ to your internal colleagues, partners or customers on developing them professionally and personally for them to deal with their own business issues
# Show when you have been in a role which has had ‘push back’ from leaders and how you dealt with this.
# Evidence when you have worked with ‘Attitudinal’ surveys.

Interviews are in the UK and you will need to be able to come to the UK (or be here) for an interview at your own expense without the need for visa or sponsorship.As the role will be working ‘shoreside’ in the UK, you will of course be able to legally work in the UK too without the need for visa or sponsorship.
